"Quisling"
A word Norwegians are not very proud of having given to the world: it derives from Vidkun Quisling (1887-1945), a Norwegian politician who collaborated with the Nazis during World War II. He established his name as a synonym for "traitor", someone who collaborates with the invaders of his country, especially by serving in a puppet government…
So, how would you like to be remembered this way? A traitor to his own country and a Nazi sympathizer, Quisling was executed by firing squad in 1945. What a legacy!
Yet his spirit lives on, right here in America. Congress is full of Quislings, unbelievably elected and re-elected for decades on end. They are those career politicians who care not one whit for this country or our Constitution, that unique and precious document which guarantees our sovereignty and our freedom. That binds us together and gives the power to the people rather then to a King or a dictator.
Ever heard of the four boxes of freedom?
They are the Ballot Box, the Soap Box, the Jury Box, and last but not least, the Ammo Box.
Giving people tremendous leverage, yet probably less then half of the eligible voters exercise this important power, or worse, vote for somebody just because they know the name or agree with a party platform, or, just feel like they must logically pull the lever for the lesser of two evils. |

Directly related to the First Amendment of the Constitution. Yes, you can speak your mind freely. However, not all soap boxes are equal. You standing on your soapbox expressing your views to a few people is an uphill battle competing with the established politicians who receive national coverage in the papers, national TV, radio, etc. Their message is widely spread out like so much manure (which it mostly is, literally). But many people are not really aware of it, and they just hear the slogans and buzzwords, read the headlines, and go along with it all. Fortunately though, the internet has leveled the playing field considerably in recent years. |

Thomas Jefferson and others of his stature considered this to be one of the greatest inventions by the minds of men to combat tyranny. Did you know that after 23 straight acquittals, they finally quit trying people for being witches, right here in America? This unique power which predates the birth of our nation is being undermined by lawyers who have too much power in choosing who sits on a jury, as well as by judges who will instruct you as a juror that you MUST VOTE according to the guidelines the JUDGE has set out for you. BULLSHIT! We have a trial by jury to negate bad law, whenever it is necessary. That takes a conscience. Hell, a computer could be fed the “facts” and Judge directed “guidelines” and make a decision of guilt or innocence, but it cannot tell right from wrong. |

The Ammo Box. It just never seems to fail. Unarmed societies have a nasty habit of dying in masse’ at the hands of armed governments. That’s why we have the 2nd Amendment. Look at these pictures and ask yourself, what could have saved these people? |
Quislings don’t want you to talk about this, but one man with the power of free speech (mainly via the internet) has brought the word Quisling back from the dead and into our vocabulary. It has caught on because it describes what is going on in our country today... End transmission..:-)

The Ballot Box.
The Soap Box.
The Jury Box.
